ah the joys of public transportation. I got to school today in plenty of time to get to class, and got right on a bus, a bus that did not leave the parking lot for 15 minutes, making me (by the time I walked to class) 5 minutes late for class. What was the hold up you ask? Well a bus driver, walked up and began a conversation with our bus driver, about another bus driver, named Rachel, that got fired, who apparently go lost (I heard part of this yesterday on the bus radios), but alas there is more to the story. She, Rachel, used to drive a big rig, and is a great driver, BUT, when she stops she falls asleep. (like at the bus stops) so they (our bus driver and the pedestrian bus driver) think she may have been sleeping when she got lost. Now all of this is very interesting let me assure you, but what is not interesting is my entire Spanish class looking at me as I try to sneak in late, and the teacher addressing me in spanish with a buenos dias senorita Heather, and something I am sure of which meant nice of you to join us.

I am leaving tonight (not on a jet plane) to go to volusia county for trial tomorrow. wish me luck

Today mine is incompetant public transit systems... but normally I have a few: chewing with your mouth open... my god is that disgusting! And stupid people, in general, and specifically stupid drivers.

Yeah the drivers get that way sometimes. It aggravates me about as bad. I am surprised you didn't say something. And it is clearly the woman's fault for that accident. ;)

Hmmm my pet peeve is a huge pet peeve, I get really peeved at people who think they are better than the next guy.
Buenos Dias Senorita Heather is good day miss Heather. Not that i'm spanish or anything, I just know these things ;)

I don't understand why that bus driver would just fall asleep at the stops. What on earth must her passengers thought? lol, if she just fell asleep for ages. I've never been on a bus that got lost. I expect that would be immensely annoying. But yes I agree I absolutely hate it when the bus just waits for ages before leaving; especially when I'm a little late to start with and then I'm ridiculously late by the time I get to whereever I'm going. Heh aww poor you and good luck with your trial thingie!!
My pet peeve is when people pick at/bite their nails. I can't stand the sound at all.
